Coping Skills for Managing Worry or Anxiety
- Practice Square Breathing!
- Visualize a peaceful place
- Color, especially a mandala
- Think of a happy memory (making sure to use the 5 senses to re-experience the memory)
- Have a mantra or say a positive affirmation
- Dance or sing to a favorite song
- Try "grounding"
- Use controlled breathing
- Go through progressive muscle relaxation
- Try yoga
