Transportation

We are currently transporting 2,000 students to our 4 Public schools and 16 Special Needs, Non-Public and Early Intervention Schools. Our school District is about 130 square miles starting 3 miles north of Harrisville and ending 3 miles south of Portersville. We have four Public schools, three are located in Slippery Rock and one elementary school in Prospect.

On a typical school day our bus/van drivers are starting their routes at 6:15 am with the afternoon elementary buses completing their routes at approximately 4:45 pm and ending our day with the Activity Buses returning to the garage at 6:30 pm.

Transportation is a very intricate process of routing buses/vans with all our students needs met in the most efficient way.
