Make sure you list Slippery Rock Area High School (School Code 394-610) as the site that you would like to receive your results if you would like your scores added to your transcripts. Also, take advantage of selecting up to three colleges that you would like your SAT scores sent.
AP Tests
Slippery Rock Area High School offers a variety of Advanced Placement (AP) courses for our students. The complete list of courses can be accessed at https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/course-index-page These intense courses culminate with a year-end exam. Students can sign up for the exams in the Guidance Office, the registration window will be from October 7 - November 7.
Depending on a student’s score, they may receive college credit for these courses; but please be aware that AP credit acceptance varies between institutions.
Students are required to pay their AP exam fees (and late fees, if applicable) at the cost determined by CollegeBoard. ($90 per test for the 2024/2025 school year.) If your family qualifies for free and reduced price meals, you may be eligible for a fee waiver.
Students scoring a three (out of five possible points) or higher on the exam will receive a reimbursement of their test fees in the fall following the exams.
