Third Grade Pulls It Off!

hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to join us on our virtual open house my name is Krista malinky and I am one of the third grade team members that we working with your student this year this year in third grade I will be teaching hi my name is Joe and I will also be working with I have science social studies spelling and handwriting that I'll be teaching a blue and yellow high grade learning support teacher I'll be working with all of the children at one time or another in the classroom you moment to show you things that you and your students and looking around to get things set up so we can show so what you're seeing now is an example of my Google Classroom teacher homepage your students may look slightly different than mine does but it will be similar overall you should be looking for child to have four to five classes listed on their Google Classroom homepage what we would like to know now and find important for you to take note to is that there are two names listed under each course the name listed in all capital letters is the teacher of the class the name following is the homeroom so as this is my teacher dashboard my homeroom students that have Ela with mrs. Ballou would click discourse the first name you see is the one that the person who is teaching the class again this repeats for Miss Hackett she is teaching the spelling to my homeroom she is also teaching the science and social studies to my and then I teach the master The Only Name that you will see there is mine in capital letters we all have a remind site so your children on the first day of school have been a letter on how to access that we highly encourage you using this especially with the current situation where you never know how things are going to change this is time for second grade you mail so fine text through email if you would take note of all of our email addresses are very similar with our first and last name and then the rest of the euro this is a clever Burgess is an example of what your child will look like and are here is where you'll find the icons for McGraw-Hill which will understand the mind and the Pearson this is where your students will be able to click on to find their reading and math material also a under the Google classroom for ELA there will be a video posted on how to navigate the Reading Wonders dashboard this will help you to see where you need to go in order to complete assignment or just the anything that is posted on the Reading Wonders another important thing to note is that for students for in-person the Google Classroom materials that will be there for you but simply as an added extra the most important group to take note of this currently it's going to be those students who chose the live streaming method because this is where you will find weekly assignments and daily activities that are going on in class for example you will want to look under the table and that is where you find weekly assignments and activities posted for your use in the future should we go to a different method of instruction should the color coding of our counties change and gold remote learning and everyone will need to utilize the Google classroom we want to see it now but again this is going to be most pertinent for those who are live streaming didn't see her in person are going to receive their instruction as they typically would on a daily basis and an added note and I will be playing some students to my room and miss Weimer Mississippi
