Mission
The Slippery Rock Area School District Education Foundation is a charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing excellent educational programs for every student in the Slippery Rock Area School District. The foundation will realize its mission by reaching out to the community to secure funds and resources to assist the School District in implementing new and inventive programs, capital projects and scholarships
Vision
As a non-profit organization 501(c)(3), the foundation will also serve as a means by which memorial and other charitable donations may be made to the Slippery Rock Area School District
The foundation will achieve its purpose by focusing on:
- Technology - Enhance and supplement the technology available to students and teachers.
- Literacy - Provide additional classroom instructional material and support to enhance what is available through the district.
- Innovative Programs - Assist teachers in providing educational opportunities beyond the regular curriculum.
- Professional Development - Support teacher and staff training beyond what would otherwise be available through the district.
- Improvements - Assist in funding capital improvements for the benefit of district students.
- Community - Encourage the community to be active participants in student education.

The Slippery Rock Area School District Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to one goal: ensuring our students have access to the absolute best. We act as the bridge between the community’s generosity and the classroom’s potential. By securing private funding and resources, we empower our schools to go above and beyond the limitations of the traditional school district budget.
