Students can sign up for the exams in the Guidance Office. The registration window will be from October 7 - November 7.
The cost for an AP exam is $90. Checks can be made out to Slippery Rock Area School District. If students are taking multiple exams, we do NOT need multiple checks.
College Board offers a reduced fee for students that are eligible for free/reduced lunch. If this applies to any of your students, please have them stop down before submitting payment.
Money will reimbursed for any student that receives a 3 or higher on the test.
As you know, colleges have varying policies/procedures on what AP scores will be accepted for college credit. College Board does have a tool on their website to check AP exam credit policies: https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/getting-credit-placement/search-policies Please feel free to share this link with your students! If a student has more specific questions about a particular exam or institution, they should contact that institution directly. Send them down to us if they need assistance!
