Welcome to the Slippery Rock Area School District Athletics and Activities Department!
Featuring 17 varsity sports and more than 33 clubs and activities, the athletics and activities department enhances the overall educational experience of the students by offering them opportunities to grow outside of the classroom. Students are afforded the opportunity to learn through a variety of different settings including: volunteer work, event planning, practices, performances and travel opportunities. The athletics and activities department provides students with the opportunity to perfect and demonstrate their wide variety of skills and abilities. Activities are offered throughout the entire school year and allow for students to be involved in several different programs.

ALL PAPERWORK IS DUE IN THE ATHLETIC OFFICE NO LATER THAN MONDAY, AUGUST 1. CONCUSSION TESTING & SCHOOL PHYSICALS FOR SPRING SPORTS WILL BE ON THURSDAY, JUNE 2ND FROM 9:30AM-3:30PM IN MR. MOTTA'S ROOM (TE-1) AND THE HIGH SCHOOL NURSE'S OFFICE. PLEASE CONTACT THE ATHLETIC OFFICE TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. PIAA SPORTS PHYSICAL PACKETS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE SCHOOL DISTRICT WEBSITE UNDER ATHLETICS. (PLEASE INCLUDE RULES AND REGULATIONS & A COPY OF INSURANCE)
SPRING SPORTS SIGN-UPS WILL BEGIN ON MONDAY, JAN 16!
**Special Note- Jr High Girls Volleyball paperwork is due no later than Feb 7, 2023. Tryouts begin on Monday Feb 13, 2023. No stuent will be able to tryout without all of the proper documentation turned into the athletics office.**

*If your child is in 7th, 9th or 11th grade, they are required to have a concussion test. Please contact athletic office (information is above) to set up an appointment.
*When filling out your packet, please use a black or blue pen and include a copy of your INSURANCE CARD along with completed paper work to the Athletic Office.
