I have created a Google Classroom for the students to be able to reach us, and as a place for me to connect with the 8th graders for college and career readiness activities/portfolio completion, as well as a place to post important information, as well as a place for us all to connect. I sent an invite to each 8th grader; if you are here and seeing this, please encourage them to go onto google and join the classroom.   I'm just learning how to work with the classroom, so it's in it's beginning stages. I've also just learned that students are able to access the counselors through Edgenuity. I have now sent an email to all 8th graders so that they would know where to reach me if they have questions about anything during this time.

Hello! My name is Mindy Isles, and I have been a School Counselor since 2003, working at SRAMS since 2006. Prior to school counseling, I worked in the field of Mental Health Counseling and Social Work. Currently, I work with the 8th Grade class and in other areas such as the Student Assistance Program, Testing, Scheduling, College and Career Readiness Education etc. I'm originally from the South Hills of Pittsburgh, but have lived in this area since moving north to attend college. I'm a graduate of Grove City College (undergraduate), and Slippery Rock University (graduate and post-masters).
